Yeah, this is beyond silly. I just have a talent for semi-preparing these and then never finish them in time. But I had this one almost done so I just didn’t want to delete it all. And it’s kind of nice reminiscing last years books …

Umm … I think this got kind of out of hand. Well, compared to last year’s hauls, this is barely average, but I was doing so well. And then there came May, my good intentions vanished into thin air and I got more books than in the previous two months combined. In my defense … well, what can I say. It’s just the way I am – AND I had a lot of preorders AND I had to get the last PennyGirl books because the publisher was selling out AND I had a friend over who I just had to introduce to my favourite book shop in Munich …

May was such an awesome reading month! Although I had a couple of projects for uni, they didn’t take up as much of my time as I feared. Most of my free time, I spent with my head in a book. Not only did I read a lot, I also read a lot of awesome books …

My first newbie post since May 2014. That’s probably a good thing since this means you didn’t really get to see how crazy I went last year. This year also started … well, it was my birthday in January, so what did you expect?! Since I’m lazy, I’m not going to talk about all the books I got in January but jump right into February …

I did it! I really did it! I finished all the books that I’d started back in 2014. I’m still not used to seeing only two to three books in my currently reading section on Goodreads. It’s so weird. I can’t even remember the last time I’d read no more than three books. It must have been at least over 18 months ago. Shocking since I used to read one book after the other when I was younger …

Err … what happened? Seriously, what the hell happened?!

So, I was really down after I failed to reach my goal of reducing my TBR pile by two books in February because I sacrificed my reading time in order to sew my sister a Little Red cape for carnival. Yeah, I’m an awesome big sister, I know. Therefore, my book-buying abstinence was all for nothing. Then I went to Munich to visit Ric and went to a big book flea market. Then I realised that I hadn’t rewarded myself for finishing my bachelor thesis. Then I ordered books. And more books. Aaaaand just a couple of more books. It’s always the same. At least, I got most of them second hand thus cheap. Enjoy! …
