Wrap-Up August 2020

I think this has to be my most social month in … forever! I also did get quite a lot of reading done – so much so that I don’t even know how I did it! However, this was the first (and hopefully only) month I exclusively read books for work! However, I managed what seemed impossible …

Wrap-Up July 2020

It is not a good sign if you have to open your calendar app to check what actually happened in July. The months just bleed together in my head. All in all, July was a rather good month, though really stressful at work, but I still managed a decent amount of pages.

Wrap-Up June 2020

Readingwise, I managed to read a lot of pages in June. Apart from that, the month wasn’t that great. Maybe that was why I read a ton!

Wrap-Up May 2020

Can we just forget about May? On a personal level, this year suuuuuucks and on a bookish level, it’s not that good either. At least I read a couple of books this month I really enjoyed …

Wrap-Up April 2020

Apparently, quarantine and reading don’t go well together in my case. I’m one of the lucky (or unlucky, depending on which angle you take) people who can continue to work pretty normally, so I don’t have more time for reading. Throwback to two years ago – Sana came up with a really fun idea: starting 30 books in 30 days. With a currently reading pile of 20 books in the beginning of May, participating in this would be a really stupid move on my part, right? Well, who cares?! I didn’t want to let this silly game pass me, so I decided to tweak it a little: reading in 30 books in 30 days? That I could do, being both able to start some new ones and trying to finish ones that have been on my CRP for years. So this is how it went …

Reading List May 2020

Fun fact: I haven’t posted a monthly TBR list since 2014. Why? Well, I never stick to them anyway. So why am I doing this now? I honestly don’t know, but I felt like doing it anyway. Maybe it will help to keep me on track this time around. Or not. But at least I’ll know what I meant to read that Corona-struck May in 2020 if I ever look back … and that sounds darker than I intended it to be …
