SuBsalabim [SuB = the German acronym for TBR pile & Simsalabim = another German word for abracadabra] is a TBR challenge a couple of friends and I started in 2016. Every month, we do rounds in picking books from the respective TBR piles for each other so that we all end up with a monthly TBR of three books. The goal is to read as many of these as possible during the month to score points. We do this in order to read books that are not necessarily on top of our TBR lists even though they are on our TBR piles. It’s fun. And I always fail horribly in keeping up.
