Do you still get books as a present?
Most of my blogger friends complain about their bookish wishes being ignored and often, I hear that someone doesn’t get books as a present anymore because he or she would already have enough – as if that’s even possible!
And then, there’s me and apparently, I’m the lucky one. I pretty much get books ONLY! Especially my parents are overjoyed when I present them with the whishlist for the current Christmas and birthday season. They prefer giving something physical instead of money and I make it incredibly easy for them. I usually get 80% books, 15% DVDs (also on my wishlist) and 5% other stuff. Most times, even that other stuff turns out to be bookish – like an additional board for my shelf or a felt bookjacket. My aunt and some of my friends also still give me books.
Naturally, I often hear that I have too many books already and no space left. But instead of stopping buying me more books, they’d rather give me an additional shelf and help me rearrange my room. I might just have the best parents in the world!

Awww, du kannst dich wirklich glücklich schätzen! Du bekommst nicht nur Bücher, sondern sogar noch den Platz dazu geschenkt – wie toll ist das denn? <3
Najaaaa, also wenn meine Eltern mir tatsächlich den Platz schenken würden, wäre das genial! Der ist nämlich leider Mangelware. Ich träume ja immer noch von der Wendeltreppe ins Kellerzimmer unter mir, das ich dann ganz wunderbar als Bücherei nutzen könnte 😉 . Aber die Regale sind zumindest ein Anfang. Habe auch erst am Wochenende wieder gequengelt, dass ich keinen Platz mehr habe und gaaaanz dringend ein neues Regal brauche – nur wo das noch hin soll, steht in den Sternen.
Extra Bücherregale – ne, so etwas gäbe es bei mir nicht. Kann auch daran liegen, dass in mein Zimmer überhaupt nichts mehr passt. Viel zu klein… Aber selbst Bücher bekomme ich eigentlich nicht mehr, zumindest nicht von meinen Eltern xD.
Also ja – schätze dich glücklich ;-).
Bei mir auch eigentlich nicht, aber ich finde schon immer noch ein Fleckchen, um irgendwo Bücher hinquetschen zu können. Eine Ecke habe ich noch, wo ich eins reinstellen könnte – dann müsste ich vielleicht doch noch mal übers Hochbett nachdenken xD
Ist schon komisch, dass ihr alle gar keine Bücher mehr bekommt. Das sind doch so gute Geschenke!
Hochbett geht bei mir leider auch nicht, weil schon überm Bett Regale hängen. Die sind natürlich auch voll mit Büchern ^^. Aber ich habe noch Stauraum unter meinem Sofa (da gehört halt eigentlich Bettwäsche und so was rein, aber… Da ist Platz xD).
Und dank euch habe ich ja auch Bücher bekommen <3.
