Little readingrat, have you forgotten you didn’t want to put pressure onto yourself via reading lists? Well, I can still write lists, right? Doesn’t mean I have to stick to them. Looking back, I actually never have. Those quarter lists always ended up to be largely ignored. So, just for the fun of it, here are the books I might read this spring, if I happen to be in the right mood.

  1. Prudence (The Custard Protocol, #1) by Gail Carriger

I love Gail Carriger’s books and can’t wait to get my hands on this one. I just finished the Parasol Protectorate series in January and can’t wait to read more about Prudence and revisit old friends.

  2. Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles, #3.5) by Marissa Meyer

I can’t believe I still haven’t read it yet. I need to change that very very soon! This is my favourite unfinished series at the moment.

  3. The Sin Eater’s Daughter (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #1) by Melinda Salisbury

I’m going to try to read it as soon as possible. I don’t want all the new releases ending up on my TBR pile and spending ages there as usual.

  4. The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brockenbrough

A preorder I hope I will read close to publication date.

  5. A Darker Shade of Magic (A Darker Shade of Magic, #1) by V.E. Schwab

Well, it’s about time I start reading her books, so why not start with the latest?

  6. A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas

I haven’t even read Throne of Glass yet, but I preordered this one anyway. I just love the premise!

  7. The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West

In case I need a cute read. Loved The Distance Between Us.

  8. Mr. Kiss and Tell (Veronica Mars, #2) by Rob Thomas & Jennifer Graham

Currently sort of rewatching the series before reading this one. I’m a marshmallow through and through. I just really hope there will be more than just the two novels.

  9. Miss Mayhem (Rebel Belle, #2) by Rachel Hawkins

Although Rebel Belle didn’t turn out the way I expected, I came to enjoy it anyway and I’m looking forward to finding out what’s going to happen next.

  10. The Wrath and the Dawn (The Wrath and the Dawn, #1) by Renee Ahdieh

Really, really looking forward to this one. It just sounds like my kind of book.

  • Whoa, this is an awesome list! I want to read almost all of the titles you mentioned myself.

I just cannot wait for ACOTAR and The Wrath and the Dawn to release. (Feeling so overwhelmed about all the books releasing this year).

You’re going to LOVE A Darker Shade of Magic! Have you read Vicious, though? Vicious is one of favorite books ever.

    • I knoooowww! I just hope I’ll manage to read them all. I’m not good at sticking to my lists ^^ .

I actually don’t have that many books I’m looking forward to (probably because I haven’t even started most series that’ll get a hyped sequel this year), but those that are on my must-have list are all pretty impressive.

I’m so looking forward to ADSOM! Everyone’s raving about it so it has to be awesome. Nooooooooo, I haven’t read a single one of her books. I feel so bad about it. I already own Vicious and Archived/Unbound but I haven’t managed to squeeze them in. Too many books, too little time. Maybe I’ll just marathon them all when I get started on one of the books 😉

  • I think I need to push Fill-in Boyfriend up on my TBR list. People seem to be really excited about it. There are also a few that we have in common. I really like your list.

    • I can’t speak for On the Fence since I haven’t read it yet but The Distance Between Us was soooo sweet! I’m actually not much into contemporary but that was one of my favourites, so I’ve got my hopes up for her new book.

  • Yesssssssss, ACOTAR and ADSOM!!! The books with the best and most recognizable acronyms on the internet! Also, coincidentally, BOTH TOTALLY AMAZING. ;D

    • Haha, true! Although it took me a while until I got what they were standing for. Now I’m so used to them that I entered ADSOM into GR the other day and was really confused when the book didn’t come up 😀 ! I really hope I’ll love them as much as everyone else does.

  • I hope you get to all of the books on your list!! I cannot wait to read ACOTAR, The Fill in Boyfriend, and Fairest! They all look incredible. And I hope you get to read the Sin Eater’s Daughter soon!! It was surprisingly good.
