It’s been a very long time since I read over 3000 pages. February, to be exact. This makes November a pretty awesome month for my stats but I also feel bad about it. I shouldn’t have read all those books. Instead, I should have read The Hunger Games Trilogy and a whole lot of companions for my Bachelor thesis. Now I will have to do this in December. God, I think I’m going to panic soon. The only positive thing about the whole process is that Ms Collins seems to have swallowed Goffman’s Asylums and rehashed it as The Hunger Games. She’s pretty much serving me everything I need on a silver plate. It’s going to be a pleasure to put everything together …

Don’t ask. Just don’t. I have no idea how exactly that happened …

Well, well, September was a month of ups and downs. I started quite well, couldn’t concentrate on reading for most of the month just to come back really strong. All in all, I didn’t read that many books but quite a lot of pages. I came so close to crack the 3000 pages mark, but came short because I forgot to read on the last day …

I can’t believe it! A wrap-up that’s actually in time! I’m still two or so behind, but at least I got this one done. By the way, I’m sorry that I’m currently posting so seldom. I’m just having a lot of stuff on my plate such as a linguistics term paper, which I procrastinated a little too long (but at least now it’s done), my Bachelor thesis, and a private issue that threw me off the track and now I have to get used to this new situation …

Yay, a new seasonal TBR list … ’cause that worked out perfectly for the last one – not! Of the ten books I chose in June for my summer TBR pile, I’ve read only two. Let’s call it an epic fail and move on, which means that I won’t recycle books from the last list but make up an entirely new pile. And it’s getting classy, historical, dark, and fantastic … and megalomaniac …
