As always, I’ve been hoarding books but didn’t really get around to reading most of the books I bought. Here are the 2015 releases I actually really wanted to read, but couldn’t find the time to do so.
-
A Darker Shade of Magic (A Darker Shade of Magic, #1) by V.E. Schwab
-
Manners & Mutiny (Finishing School, #4) by Gail Carriger
-
Black Dove, White Raven by Elizabeth Wein
-
Mr. Kiss and Tell (Veronica Mars, #2) by Rob Thomas & Jennifer Graham
-
Lair of Dreams (The Diviners, #2) by Libba Bray
-
Radiance by Catherynne M. Valente
-
Time Salvager (Time Salvager, #1) by Wesley Chu
-
Soundless by Richelle Mead
-
The Sin Eater’s Daughter (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #1) by Melinda Salisbury
-
The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brockenbrough
HOW HAVE YOU NOT READ MANNERS&MUTINY YET???? The ending was SO GOOD! Perfect for this series, I might have cried because I was so happy that I got what I wanted 😀
ALSO: ADSOM AND A LAIR OF DREAMS!!!!!!!!!
I still need and want to read Time Salvager AND Radiance, though I pre-ordered a copy from another publisher which only comes out in March, so it’s not really a 2015 release for me.
/o\ I don’t knoooooooow! [Well, I actually do. I didn’t pay attention when I ordered it so I chose the wrong delivery address and it got sent home. I only arrived there on 23 Dec and I just didn’t have any time to read over the holidays. Currently, I’m only reading books for work so unfortunately everything else has to wait.] Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much! However, this only makes me want to read it more. I need a timeturner inside a Tardis.
Really looking forward to both of them! I love sci-fi so much, but for some reason I almost never actually read sci-fi novels.
I’m actually a bit surprised that you haven’t read the second Veronica Mars novel already, I think I remember you being so excited about it? 😀
(I better not tell you that I still haven’t even gotten the first one AND haven’t seen the movie yet /o\)
I also want to read ADSOM some day but I really need to read VICIOUS first, it’s on my TBR pile for almost a whole year now 😀
LAIR OF DREAMS was pretty good, even though I liked the first one a bit better because I had hoped for more answers about Project Buffalo and that stuff but this storyline got much too little attention in my opinion.
I also want to read TIME SALVAGER soon, I got it for my birthday and am pretty excited about it. Time travel is always cool! 😀
HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE YOU STILL HAVEN’T WATCHED THE MOVIE?! If you don’t amend this soon, I’m going to have to tie you to a chair and make you watch it. As for why I haven’t read the novel yet, well, I decided I wanted to re- everything before reading the novel and got stuck at the end of the first season xD . Way to go, me, way to go!
Aaaaawww, cute! Vicious has been on my TBR for 729 days. So yeah, maybe I should read it, too 😀 .
Looking forward to reading both of them. Lair of Dreams is just such a big book and I don’t really have much time to read at the moment.
You still have over a month to read A Darker Shade of Magic before A Gathering of Shadows comes out! 😉 If you like Victoria Schwab’s other books (I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them on your blog), I’m sure you’ll love it. It’s not the darkest fantasy ever, but it’s definitely not light and fluffy, either. Time Salvager is also really good, I hope you have time to read it soon. 🙂
I don’t think I’ll make it, though. I’m currently working full-time and I also still have classes at uni. When I have time to read, I read the books from the publisher I’m working for. As someone working in PR, I should know what books I’m trying to get people to promote 😉 . Yes, you’ve seen them, although I “only” read Archived/Unbound so far. Still need to get to Vicious, too.
Eep, you are always so busy! I hope you are at least enjoying the books from your publisher. 🙂
