Challenge hosted by Kermit @ Seitenteich
My TBR pile is ginormous and ever-growing. That’s fine with me but a lot of my books are looking at me with sad eyes for they have been on my shelves for up to 10 years and I haven’t picked them up yet. I recently ordered my TBR pile on Goodreads into shelves for each year. Beside my quite large pile of books of unknown date of purchase, the oldest books on my TBR date back to 2005. The new overview made me want to start reading those books that’ve been with me for ages. Along comes this challenge, which is just perfect for my intention:
ANTI-AGE dem SUB 3.0: You CAN [re]do!
Each month (1 August 2014 to 31 July 2015) one can collect lots by fulfilling the following tasks:
- Glücksfee (3 lots): Each month, one has to read a random book chosen by lot from one’s aged TBR pile
- Plus-Minus (1 lot): Number of Newbies – Number of aged TBR novels read < 0
- Uropa adé (1 lot): Read a book from the ancient TBR pile
- Bonus (1 lot if Glücksfee was fulfilled): Fulfill the monthly extra challenge
Aged TBR: Books that were bought prior to 1 August 2013; to challenge myself, I decided to move the date to 1 January 2011
Ancient TBR: The 12 books that have been on one’s TBR the longest; although I have enough books on my 2005 TBR, I decided to mix in a couple of books of unknown date of purchase and one from 2006 which I really really really have to want to read soon.

Huhu!
